Family Run Business

Our company was founded by Norman Davidsmeyer in 1946. The focus was on School buses in Elk Grove Village. Later on he created Mid America Charter Bus, Colorado Charter, Central West of Texas. In the early 1990 the creation of a parts superstor called, Expar was established. We created a better way to process parts and work on Buses and Trucks. In 2018 we moved the business from Elk Grove Village and began operation in Gurnee, IL. Our team of Mechanics, painters, body workers are ready to assist customers from the consumer level with automobile mechanical services to the largest fleets in North America with Mechanical and fleet maintenance.

Operation that Cares

BTE Garage, Bus Truck Experts transitioned to a full service body shop over time. In the late 90's a new wing was added for body work including custom paint jobs. Already certified in many areas, we are still growing fast! Our truck mechanic and bus mechanic are now located in Gurnee.
